Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Roseville or Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $130,000 – $190,000 per year (depending on experience) + Bonus

Role: Litigation Associate Attorney

A leading regional civil litigation and business law firm is expanding and looking for a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Roseville or Irvine, California.
This role is ideal for an ambitious attorney ready to take on meaningful hands-on litigation work, learn directly from experienced partners, build client relationships, and follow a defined path for long-term career growth within a supportive and respected practice.
What You'll Do:
Case Leadership: Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload both independently and alongside firm partners.
Specialized Litigation: Work on high-stakes cases focused on construction defects, business disputes, real estate litigation, and builder/developer defense.
Pleadings & Discovery: Draft substantive law-and-motion filings, legal briefs, and comprehensive discovery requests and responses.
Depositions & Court Appearances: Take and defend depositions of key witnesses, parties, and experts, while representing clients at hearings, appearances, and mediations.
Client Engagement: Communicate directly with clients to build trusted relationships and refine strategic legal judgment.
What We're Looking For:
Active license in good standing with the State Bar of California.
Demonstrated track record handling discovery, drafting substantive motions, and conducting or defending depositions.
Background in construction defect, real estate, or commercial business litigation strongly preferred.
Sharp legal research, analytical reasoning, and writing capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits Package
$130,000 to $190,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
Bonus available for billable hours achieved above the standard target (Target: 1,800 billable hours per year / ~150 hours per month).
Additional discretionary bonus opportunities based on firm and individual performance.
