Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production, and leading a team of technicians during overnight operations.

Compensation

  • $70,000 – $85,000 base salary
  • Compensation dependent on experience (flexibility for strong candidates)
  • Relocation assistance available (Midwest candidates preferred)

Schedule

  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of 4 maintenance technicians on 3rd shift
  • Ensure all equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safely
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and processing equipment
  • Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Train and develop team members, including maintenance leads
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, including PSM (Process Safety Management)
  • Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and improve performance
  • Assist with documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Prior maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting background preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or processing environments
  • Knowledge of PSM programs strongly preferred
  • Ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus
  • Background in meat processing or food manufacturing highly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate

    • A current Maintenance Lead or Supervisor ready to step into a larger role
    • Hands-on leader who can both manage and support the team technically
    • Comfortable working overnight shift and leading independently
    • Able to ramp up quickly, though there is a learning curve with specialized equipment
