CONTROLLER
📍 Multi-State Growth Platform | Environmental & Industrial Services
A rapidly growing environmental services organization, backed by private equity, is seeking an experienced Controller to support aggressive multi-state expansion through acquisitions, greenfield development, and organic growth.
This role will partner closely with executive leadership to build scalable financial controls, oversee accounting operations, and prepare the organization for a transition from QuickBooks to a robust ERP platform (NetSuite, Dynamics, Sage, or similar). The Controller will play a key role in establishing reporting discipline, KPIs, and shared services infrastructure to support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities Include: • Financial reporting, analysis, and executive-level dashboards • Budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis • Developing and enforcing financial controls and compliance • Oversight of AR, AP, payroll, and cash flow • Supporting ERP implementation and systems integration • Training and supporting finance teams within acquired businesses
Ideal Background: • 10+ years in senior accounting or financial leadership roles • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA preferred) • Deep expertise in QuickBooks and strong ERP exposure • High integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally • Self-directed, analytical, and comfortable in high-growth environments
