Senior Litigation Attorney (Healthcare + Commercial) – Houston, TX
I’m working directly with leadership at a well-established Texas-based law firm that is continuing to expand its complex litigation and healthcare regulatory practice.
This is an opportunity for a senior-level attorney who wants to own cases end-to-end—not just contribute. The role combines high-stakes commercial litigation with meaningful exposure to healthcare regulatory and administrative proceedings.
Compensation is highly competitive and structured to reward performance and leadership.
Lead complex litigation matters from inception through trial
Handle motion practice, including dispositive motions and injunctions (TROs/temporary injunctions)
Take and defend depositions (fact and expert)
First-chair or play a significant role in trial and evidentiary hearings
Manage client relationships and serve as a strategic advisor
Participate in administrative and regulatory proceedings (CMS, OSHA, licensing boards, etc.)
Mentor junior attorneys and help drive case strategy
10+ years of litigation experience (commercial litigation preferred)
Strong trial background, including evidentiary hearings and depositions
Experience handling cases independently with minimal oversight
Background in healthcare regulatory or administrative law is strongly preferred (not required)
Familiarity with CMS, Stark, Anti-Kickback, or state regulatory frameworks is a plus
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
True case ownership with visible impact
Mix of litigation and regulatory work (rare combo at this level)
Direct access to firm leadership and high-level client interaction
Consistent pipeline of sophisticated, high-value matters
Platform for long-term growth and potential leadership trajectory
Market-leading base salary (commensurate with experience)
Performance-based bonuses and originations upside
Billable expectation aligned with high-level practice (details available upon request)
If you’re a senior litigator who wants more control over your cases and a broader platform that includes regulatory exposure, this is worth a conversation.
