The Litigation Paralegal will:
Support litigation counsel in all stages of litigation
Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses
Draft basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.
Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits
Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum 2 years civil litigation experience in:
Organizing large caseloads, discovery and trial preparation
Commercial and business litigation, intellectual property experience is a plus
Office management
Solid written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
Great time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision
