Position: Associate Lawyer – Trusts & Estates Litigation
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid or Remote)
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually (DOE)
A boutique law firm renowned for delivering high-quality legal services in the areas of family law and estate planning/litigation is seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates Litigation Associate to join its growing team. The firm offers a supportive, client-centered environment where attorneys are empowered to provide personalized, strategic counsel to individuals navigating emotionally complex matters.

Represent clients in trust and estate disputes including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty, elder financial abuse, and contested guardianships.
Handle all phases of litigation including client intake, discovery, motions, mediations, and trial preparation.
Work independently and collaboratively on case strategy and execution.
Maintain exceptional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Contribute to a respectful and mission-driven firm culture focused on integrity, service, and excellence.
J.D. from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in Washington State.
Minimum 4 years of experience in trusts and estates litigation (or strong civil litigation background with demonstrated interest in this area).
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Empathy, professionalism, and strong client relationship abilities.
Experience with remote litigation tools and paperless case management is a plus.
Flexibility to work remotely or from the firm’s Seattle office.
