Position: Associate Lawyer – Trusts & Estates Litigation
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid or Remote)
Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually (DOE)

A boutique law firm renowned for delivering high-quality legal services in the areas of family law and estate planning/litigation is seeking a skilled Trusts & Estates Litigation Associate to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in trust and estate disputes including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty, elder financial abuse, and contested guardianships.

  • Handle all phases of litigation including client intake, discovery, motions, mediations, and trial preparation.

  • Work independently and collaboratively on case strategy and execution.

  • Maintain exceptional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

  • Contribute to a respectful and mission-driven firm culture focused on integrity, service, and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in Washington State.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in trusts and estates litigation (or strong civil litigation background with demonstrated interest in this area).

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Empathy, professionalism, and strong client relationship abilities.

  • Experience with remote litigation tools and paperless case management is a plus.
