Food Production Maintenance Supervisor

Overview:
A well-established food manufacturing facility is seeking a Food Production Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility maintenance, equipment reliability, and compliance with food safety standards. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians
• Perform advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain slicers, sealers, flow wrappers, and labelers
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
• Ensure compliance with SQF / GFSI food safety standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Collaborate across production, QA, and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Must come from food manufacturing with 5–7+ years of production or facility maintenance experience
• 3+ years in a supervisory role
• College degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Welding and light carpentry experience
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
