About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Traveling Superintendent with direct experience overseeing USPS (U.S. Postal Service) construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at managing multi-site, fast-paced federal or postal buildouts, renovations, and ground-up projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day field operations on USPS construction sites
Oversee subcontractors, site safety, schedule, and quality control
Ensure compliance with federal construction protocols and USPS standards
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and inspectors to ensure on-time delivery
Maintain accurate field documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial/federal construction
Proven experience managing USPS or federal government construction projects
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and scheduling
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
Experience with government reporting systems (e.g., Procore, RMS, etc.)
OSHA 30 Certification
Familiarity with Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage projects
