Commercial Litigation Attorney in Hartford

Job Description

We are looking to add an associate attorney who exercises independent judgment and discretion to join our growing civil litigation practice group.

Ideal Candidate would have:

• J.D. Licensed in state and in good standing.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in general complex civil litigation.
• Experience with the following:
  • Managing a litigation caseload (from beginning to end).
  • Previous experience in one or all of the following: construction, professional, and premises liability.
  • Drafting legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conducting research on legal issues associated with the case.
  • Taking/defending depositions, handling hearings, and trial/arbitration.
  • E-discovery platforms.
