Job Title: Ops Manager

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Ops Manager to join our grain elevator operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of grain operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
  • Learn and support safety protocols and compliance regulations within the facility.
  • Analyze operational processes to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with team members on inventory management and grain quality control.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop knowledge of grain handling equipment and systems.
  • Help prepare reports and assist with project planning as needed.
  • Contribute to team meetings and engage in problem-solving discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in the agricultural industry and grain handling processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
