Job Description

I’m partnered with a well-known firm that is looking to add a Commercial Litigation Associate to their team. This position is with a firm that has excellent mentorship opportunities and growth opportunities in complex commercial litigation.

Background Requirements

• 5–15 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial disputes, professional responsibility, employment law, and/or personal injury
• Taking depos, handling hearings or arguments
• Motions practice, dispositive motions
• Strong experience drafting and arguing motions
• Familiarity with California state and federal courts and procedures
• Experience managing cases through discovery and trial preparation; trial experience or meaningful trial support experience strongly preferred
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and case management abilities
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
