Trust & Estate Attorney – Naples, FL

We are seeking a Trust & Estate Attorney with a small book of business to join our growing team in Naples, FL. This position provides an excellent opportunity to handle complex trust and estate matters, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate, while working closely with high-net-worth clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored trust and estate planning services to meet individual client needs.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, and estate documents to ensure asset protection and tax efficiency.
  • Manage all aspects of trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings, tax filings, and fiduciary guidance.
  • Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning, and charitable giving.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare in-depth analyses on trust and estate matters.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, tax professionals, and clients to develop comprehensive estate and trust plans.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in trust and estate law.
  • Must have a small book of business that will transition with you.
  • Strong knowledge of the Florida Probate Code and Trust Code.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing estate and gift tax returns.
  • Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning.
  • Experience advising high-net-worth clients on trust and estate strategies.
  • Knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws.
