We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join a senior living and long-term care community in the Albert Lea area. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a motivated RN who is passionate about quality patient care, staff leadership, and operational excellence.

The Director of Nursing will oversee clinical operations, lead and mentor nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help create a positive environment for residents and employees alike.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain survey readiness and quality standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee development
• Promote a culture focused on compassionate, resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Previous leadership experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff, residents, and families
