Remote Project Manager – Commercial Construction Startup
Company Overview A fast-growing commercial construction startup founded in 2020 is expanding its team and looking for a Remote Project Manager to support projects across the Midwest and Mountain West. Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates for commercial projects
Perform quantity takeoffs from construction documents and specifications
Analyze subcontractor bids, leveling scopes and pricing
Develop budgets, cost models, and value engineering options
Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and business development teams
Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases
Assist with proposal preparation and client presentations as needed
5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
Experience with projects $5M+
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Proficiency in estimating software such as PlanSwift, OST, Bluebeam, Procore, or Sage
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Familiarity with negotiated and design-build delivery methods
