Insurance Defense Attorney | Margate, FL

A respected Florida litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Broward office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1+ year of experience who is eager to build strong litigation skills, gain meaningful courtroom exposure, and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients through all phases of insurance defense litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Handle matters involving bodily injury defense, general liability, premises liability, and related insurance disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and case evaluations with precision and efficiency
• Work closely with experienced partners and claims professionals to develop litigation strategies and drive timely resolutions
• Gain valuable hands-on experience with court appearances, hearings, and trial preparation

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida Bar member in good standing
• 1+ year of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred, but not required)
• Interest in developing strong deposition, mediation, and trial skills
• Solid legal writing, research, and communication abilities
• Motivated, coachable, and eager to learn in a team-oriented practice
