DIESEL MECHANIC – HEAVY EQUIPMENT
We are currently looking for a Diesel Mechanic with expertise in Heavy Construction Equipment to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy construction equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of heavy construction equipment, including Excavators, Water Trucks, Scrapers, Packers, Tractors, Skytrax, Backhoes, and Skid-loaders
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess equipment condition, identify potential issues, and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional notes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specifically with heavy construction equipment.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures specific to various heavy construction equipment models and manufacturers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
