Staff Accountant

Humboldt, Iowa | Full-Time | On-site / Hybrid Flexibility

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Humboldt, Iowa. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of clients while developing your professional expertise. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profits

  • Perform bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and depreciation schedules

  • Compile and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance

  • Stay informed on current tax laws and accounting standards

  • Assist senior staff while providing exceptional client service


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or related role

  • CPA license preferred, or actively working toward certification

  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail

  • Effective communication and organizational skills
