Full-Time | Hybrid – 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote
A growing residential home builder is seeking an experienced Director of Land Development & Acquisition to lead the identification, evaluation, acquisition, and development of residential land opportunities.
Identify and evaluate residential land acquisition opportunities
Lead due diligence, negotiations, contracts, and closings
Oversee land development from acquisition through finished lots
Manage zoning, entitlements, permitting, and municipal approvals
Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and financial projections
Build relationships with landowners, brokers, municipalities, engineers, and consultants
Maintain and grow the company's land pipeline
7+ years of residential land acquisition/development experience
Strong understanding of land development, zoning, entitlements, and permitting
Experience evaluating land deals, development costs, and financial feasibility
Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
