Quality Manager – Hydraulics & Manufacturing
Seeking Quality Manager with a mechanical engineering background to lead quality initiatives within a high-performance manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance and control processes for welded assemblies, hydraulic systems, and cylinder products
- Oversee prototype builds and support R&D with quality input
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action planning to resolve quality issues
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on problem-solving initiatives
- Manage quality projects from start to finish, ensuring standards and timelines are met
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and compliance systems
- Provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in hydraulics, welded assemblies, and cylinders
- Welding background beneficial
- Hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
- Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams
- Skilled in problem solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
