Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting successful project delivery. You’ll coordinate, track, and help manage the flow of information, documentation, and resources needed to keep commercial construction projects on time, on budget, and aligned with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and documentation for assigned projects
  • Support the preparation of pre-construction RFP packages
  • Facilitate RFIs, submittals, and pay applications, including review and approval
  • Assist in project meetings and maintain effective communication with internal and external teams
  • Help manage subcontract change orders and contract documentation
  • Contribute to project scheduling, quality control, and logistics planning
  • Work closely with the Superintendent and site operations team through all project phases
  • Assist with project closeout processes and final documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of commercial construction experience, with a general contractor
  • Passion for construction and a desire to grow within the industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Technologically adaptable and comfortable learning new platforms and systems
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to professionalism and relationship building
