Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our metal manufacturing and fabrication facility. This role is responsible for overseeing equipment reliability, managing maintenance staff, and ensuring preventative maintenance programs are executed effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, along with proven leadership experience in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across manufacturing equipment.
Lead and manage the daily activities of the maintenance team, providing direction, training, and support.
Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
Coordinate repairs, maintenance projects, and equipment improvements.
Ensure compliance with company safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements.
Work closely with production leadership to minimize downtime and optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
3+ years of leadership or management experience supervising maintenance technicians.
Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience creating and managing preventative maintenance programs.
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.
