FSQA Compliance Coordinator in Michigan

Job Description

Gpac is seeking a FSQA candidate for a FSQA Compliance Coordinator role for a great company client in central Michigan. 

Overview: This role manages product documentation, customer requests, supplier compliance, and quality systems across the enterprise. It plays a key role in food safety, regulatory compliance, and supporting the Quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product and supplier documents for raw materials and non-produced goods using TraceGains and other tools
  • Oversee FSVP and material risk assessments with the QA team
  • Handle online customer RFI requests and maintain finished goods specs and SDS documentation
  • Maintain TraceGains receiving systems for sister company and train internal users
  • Support regulatory compliance with FDA/USDA requirements, traceability exercises, audits, and COA generation
  • Use and support internal systems including SAGE and LIMS
  • Additional duties as needed, with occasional travel

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; associate degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years in QA, document management, or manufacturing (pet/food preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAGE, Adifo, and online supplier portals
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
  • Must be a self-starter and team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Certifications (or willingness to obtain): PCQI (Human Grade), HACCP, FSVP, Internal Audit, SQF Practitioner

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 25 lbs., and travel as needed. Reasonable accommodations will be provided.
