Overview: A growing, well-established public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager or experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage a smaller satellite office. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial tax professional who is ready to take on a leadership role with a clear path to partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all tax compliance, planning, and consulting for a variety of clients

  • Manage and develop a small team within the satellite office

  • Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic communication and service

  • Review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts

  • Collaborate with firm leadership on growth initiatives and operational goals

  • Lead staff training, mentorship, and performance management

Requirements:

  • CPA designation required

  • 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting

  • Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax codes

  • Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred

  • Proven client relationship skills and business development mindset

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to firm-wide strategy
