A well-established agricultural organization in Southwest Minnesota is seeking an Agronomy Location Manager to oversee the daily agronomy operations, lead a team of employees, and ensure outstanding service to area growers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong agronomic background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to lead a successful, community-focused location.

Location Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day location operations and ensure efficiency, profitability, and top-tier customer service

  • Manage all aspects of employee leadership, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions

  • Assist with annual budgeting and asset planning for the location

  • Maintain expense oversight and inventory accuracy

  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance in collaboration with corporate safety leadership

  • Maintain facility and equipment to ensure operational readiness

  • Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures

Location Manager Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in agronomy, ag retail, or related fields

  • Strong understanding of agronomic practices and crop input operations

  • Proven team management experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to work extended hours during seasonal peak times

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
