A well-established agricultural organization in Southwest Minnesota is seeking an Agronomy Location Manager to oversee the daily agronomy operations, lead a team of employees, and ensure outstanding service to area growers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong agronomic background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to lead a successful, community-focused location.
Location Manager Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day location operations and ensure efficiency, profitability, and top-tier customer service
Manage all aspects of employee leadership, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions
Assist with annual budgeting and asset planning for the location
Maintain expense oversight and inventory accuracy
Promote a culture of safety and compliance in collaboration with corporate safety leadership
Maintain facility and equipment to ensure operational readiness
Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures
Location Manager Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of leadership experience in agronomy, ag retail, or related fields
Strong understanding of agronomic practices and crop input operations
Proven team management experience
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to work extended hours during seasonal peak times
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
