Structural Engineer
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering firm supporting industrial projects throughout the U.S. and internationally. The company has secured multiple supplier agreements and is forecasting continued growth through 2031, creating opportunities for additional engineers.
This is an immediate-hire position offering significant autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team.
Compensation: $130K+ based on experience and skill level
Location: Tulsa, OK preferred; remote available for the right candidate
Travel: Less than 5% for occasional meetings and jobsite visits
Responsibilities
- Engineer structural steel, ductwork, and support structures for industrial projects.
- Perform structural analysis using software such as STAAD.
- Develop and review designs using AutoCAD and 3D modeling.
- Ensure designs meet AISC, OSHA, IBC, ASCE 7, and applicable safety requirements.
- Work with engineering and fabrication teams across the U.S. and internationally.
- Assist with value engineering and cost-effective design solutions while maintaining safety and quality.
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables independently.
- Communicate regularly with internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- PE license or actively working toward licensure preferred.
- Strong structural steel design experience.
- Knowledge of AISC, OSHA, IBC, and ASCE 7.
- Structural analysis software experience; STAAD preferred.
- AutoCAD and 3D modeling experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable receiving constructive feedback and collaborating with an experienced engineering team.
