Job Summary
A leading food manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee night shift operations. This hands-on leadership role manages supervisors, mechanics, electricians, and boiler/refrigeration technicians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. We are looking for a strong communicator and team builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the night shift maintenance team
Ensure all plant equipment operates safely and efficiently
Strengthen communication between day and night shift teams
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility issues
Maintain accountability across all maintenance personnel
Coordinate with production leadership to prioritize work
Drive continuous improvement and proactive maintenance practices
Provide training, coaching, and cross-training opportunities
Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
Must have food manufacturing maintenance leadership experience
Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
Proven ability to lead teams in a production environment
Excellent communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
Creative problem solver with a proactive mindset
