SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT
| Hybrid – 2 Days Remote
A growing and well-established organization is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and partnering with multiple teams across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Own bank and general ledger reconciliations and research discrepancies
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial close
- Prepare financial statements and internal management reports
- Analyze financial information and provide accurate reporting to leadership
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial reports and analysis
- Work closely with operations, project teams, vendors, lenders, and leadership
- Assist with construction loan draws and lender reporting as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Strong experience with general accounting and month-end close
- Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Construction, homebuilding, loan draw, or lender reporting experience is a plus
