We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic and growing real estate group. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in sophisticated real estate finance transactions, including acquisitions, development, and refinancing.
Draft and negotiate loan documents for commercial real estate transactions, including loans, construction loans, and financing.
Represent national and regional banks, private equity firms, and institutional lenders in secured lending transactions.
Conduct and manage due diligence, including review of title, survey, zoning, and environmental reports.
Advise clients on risk management and structuring of complex commercial real estate finance deals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including tax, corporate, and litigation attorneys as needed.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active and good standing membership in the Minnesota State Bar (or ability to waive in).
3+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, title/survey review, and real estate documentation.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
