We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our Grand Rapids, MI team. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects across multiple industries, while enjoying the stability and growth opportunities that come with being an employee-owner.
Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 annually (depending on experience)
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, network, and instrumentation/control systems
Prepare construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications
Perform field investigations and data gathering
Provide client interaction and project coordination
Support construction administration and observation services
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or equivalent)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or actively pursuing licensure
Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering design experience
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office, Easy Power arc flash hazard analysis software, and lighting design software
Experience with water and wastewater facilities preferred
Knowledge of the A/E consulting business a plus
