A highly respected St. Louis law firm is seeking entrepreneurial lateral partners with an established portable book of business who are looking for a stronger platform without the operational burden of running their own firm.

This opportunity is particularly well-suited for experienced practitioners who enjoy practicing law and servicing clients but are increasingly frustrated with the administrative, financial, and management demands of firm ownership.

Compensation Structure

This firm offers a flexible, entrepreneur-friendly compensation model with significant upside potential.

Key highlights include:

• Partners retain 100% of their own collections, less firm overhead (historically averaging approximately 27–32%)
• Optional draw structure allowing partners to draw 60% as collections are received, with reconciliation completed at year-end
• Additional upside through shared work opportunities, including earning one-third of collections on partner-worked matters
• Ability to bring in and supervise an associate while retaining the collections generated from that work and directly managing the compensation structure
