Job Title: Construction Litigation Attorney

Location: Louisville KY

Experience Level: 2-7 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Litigation Attorney to join our team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling construction litigation matters and will be eager to assume meaningful responsibility in the firm's construction law department  

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters, such as contract disputes, bidding and procurement, employment litigation, lien enforcement, and even antitrust matters. 

• Assist in all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through discovery, motions, hearings, and trial.

• Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Provide strategic advice and risk assessments to clients.

• Assist in non-litigation matters such as drafting construction design contracts and other transactional matters. 

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve efficient and favorable case outcomes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Kentucky Bar (or eligibility to waive in).

• Minimum of 2 years of Construction litigation experience.

• A degree or background in architecutre, engineering or the construction industry is preferred but not required. 

• Ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines.
