Our client is an established electrical contractor with a strong reputation in the commercial and industrial construction market. They are looking for an experienced professional who can confidently manage projects while also bringing strong estimating and preconstruction capabilities to the team.

The salary for this position may vary from the posted range, as final compensation will be based on the candidate’s direct and relevant experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Estimate commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from plans and specifications through final proposal.
- Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs and develop accurate project pricing.
- Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and scopes of work to identify requirements, exclusions, and potential issues.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Manage awarded projects from kickoff through successful completion.
- Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
- Monitor project performance, profitability, change orders, and overall financial results.
- Coordinate with general contractors, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Provide clear direction regarding project scope, schedules, materials, and expectations.
- Assist with procurement and material coordination.
- Identify potential challenges early and develop practical solutions.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Help identify future project opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.
- Previous experience in both electrical project management and estimating.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, labor, and project sequencing.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
- Experience with electrical takeoffs, estimating, bidding, change orders, and project financials.
- Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Experience with Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Electrical field experience or a Journeyman/Master Electrician license is a plus.
