Associate, Counsel, or Partner – Business Law & Transactions

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri

Type: Full-Time | Associate, Counsel, or Partner (based on experience and book)

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base, dependent on experience and book of business

We are a boutique law firm based in Chesterfield, Missouri, focused on delivering “white-glove” legal services to business owners, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. As part of our continued strategic growth, we are seeking a Corporate Associate, Counsel, or Partner who aligns with our values and vision. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated lawyer who is excited to build with a firm that prioritizes quality, service, and team culture.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are open to two types of candidates:

  • A senior-level attorney with an existing client base seeking a more supportive and structured platform
  • A mid-level associate (4+ years of experience) ready to take the next step in their career and grow within a boutique setting

Both types of candidates must value teamwork, professional systems, and a client-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on business formation, entity structuring, and general counsel matters
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, operating agreements, and deal documents
  • Support or lead M&A, business sales, and real estate transactions
  • Deliver consistent, high-touch legal service with attention to detail and responsiveness
  • Engage in firm initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and client development

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Missouri (or eligible via reciprocity)
  • 4+ years of experience in business, corporate, or transactional law
  • Strong legal writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to working collaboratively in a boutique, systems-focused firm
  • A portable book of business (preferred for senior-level candidates)
  • Bonus: Experience in estate planning, real estate, or regulatory compliance

  • Base salary of $150,000–$200,000, depending on experience
