Job Description

A community bank in Mason City is confidentially seeking an experienced Trust Officer to manage a book of trust, estate, and fiduciary relationships across north central Iowa. This is a relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys working closely with families, attorneys, and CPAs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer personal trusts, estates, guardianships, and agency accounts
• Serve as the main contact for clients and beneficiaries
• Review account documents and make sure accounts are handled according to their terms
• Coordinate with investment staff, attorneys, and tax professionals
• Help grow the trust department through referrals and business development
• Make sure accounts follow fiduciary and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of trust administration experience
• CTFA or similar designation preferred
• Strong communication skills and good judgment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts
