We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Operator to set up and run machines, work from technical drawings and CAD models, and keep production running at peak performance. Job duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce parts that meet specifications
- Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD software for programming and design modifications
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process, including basic logic controllers and Fanuc systems
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for effective packaging and handling of finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, and SolidWorks is preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery, including Fanuc controls
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
