Corporate M&A Attorney: Middle-Market Deal Work with Hybrid Flexibility in Irvine

Our client, a highly regarded Orange County law firm, is seeking a mid-level Corporate M&A Attorney with 4+ years of experience for its Irvine, California office. The corporate group represents private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, founders, and family-owned businesses in middle-market mergers and acquisitions.

This is a hybrid role based in Irvine, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents
• Lead due diligence and manage signing and closing processes
• Advise on private equity investments, recapitalizations, and joint ventures
• Counsel clients on governance, entity formation, and commercial contracts
• Supervise junior associates and coordinate with tax, employment, and IP colleagues

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 4+ years of M&A or corporate transactional experience at a law firm
• Middle-market deal experience preferred
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to run transactions with minimal supervision
