Insurance Defense Attorney: Build Your Trial Skills in Center City Philadelphia

Our client, a well-established insurance defense firm, is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its Center City Philadelphia office. The firm defends insurers, self-insured businesses, and their insureds in auto, premises liability, general liability, and professional liability matters across Pennsylvania.

This is an in-office role in Center City Philadelphia, where you will collaborate closely with experienced trial attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from pleadings through trial
• Draft pleadings, preliminary objections, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions and attend arbitrations, mediations, and hearings
• Prepare case evaluations and status reports for carriers and clients
• Try cases in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and surrounding counties

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Deposition and courtroom experience
• Strong writing, organizational, and client communication skills
• Commitment to working in office as part of a collaborative team
