Remote Commercial Litigation Attorney: Florida Business Disputes, Zero Commute

Our client, a respected Florida firm with a strong North Central Florida presence, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to support its Gainesville practice. The firm represents businesses, lenders, and closely held companies in contract, partnership, fraud, and other commercial disputes throughout Florida.

This role is fully remote for Florida-based attorneys, with occasional travel for court appearances, depositions, and mediations as needed.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial litigation matters from case intake through trial or resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions and argue motions
• Develop case strategy alongside partners and communicate directly with clients
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of commercial or business litigation experience
• Must reside in Florida and be available for occasional in-person appearances
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Self-motivation and organization to work productively in a remote setting
