Position Overview: The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field operations on assigned projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field staff. The Superintendent ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure productivity and quality workmanship
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
  • Enforce and promote strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless execution
  • Oversee quality control to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards
  • Prepare daily reports, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Resolve field-related issues and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry
  • Degree in construction
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • OSHA certification preferred
