Job Description

Drive new work for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector focused on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager. $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives; expect Midwest travel.

Day to day

• Coordinate with estimating and operations to shape winning pursuit plans
• Generate new structural steel erection revenue across Midwest markets
• Travel the Midwest to meet clients and stay ahead of upcoming work
• Qualify and advance pursuits on projects of 5,000+ tons
• Present capabilities of an AISC-certified Michigan erector to prospective clients

You will succeed if you have

• Organized hunter skills with strong follow-through
• Proven BD or sales background tied to steel erection or structural steel construction
• Ability to travel for Midwest client development
• Experience supporting or selling large-tonnage Midwest projects
• Established Midwest general contractor or owner relationships a plus
