General Liability Associate Attorney (1–5 Years)
Location: Southeastern and East-Central Virginia (Hybrid)
A respected defense firm is seeking a litigation-driven Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience in general liability, insurance defense, and civil/commercial litigation. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for trial-minded attorneys ready to take ownership of cases and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage general liability, commercial litigation, insurance defense, and workers’ comp cases
Handle litigation from pre-suit through trial
Conduct depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
Requirements:
1–5 years of relevant litigation experience
Trial experience or interest in trial-heavy caseloads
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Perks & Compensation:
$90K–$135K base salary
$20K+ bonus for meeting billable target (1800 hours)
