Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

GPAC has partnered with a respected and growing law firm seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Dallas, Texas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience looking to work on sophisticated civil litigation matters in a collaborative and professional environment.

The firm is seeking a motivated attorney who is eager to take on meaningful responsibility and grow within the practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a broad range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
  • Manage discovery and assist with trial preparation
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to the Texas Bar
  • 2–4 years of civil litigation experience
  • Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Professional demeanor with strong client communication skills
