Job Description

A community bank in Delta is confidentially hiring an Ag Lender to work with orchard, ranch, and farm operations across the North Fork Valley and the Western Slope. You'll handle new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing for a portfolio of ag and ag real estate loans.

Responsibilities:

• Grow ties with orchardists, ranchers, and ag-related businesses
• Work through financials, cash flow, and collateral such as livestock, irrigated acres, and water rights
• Design operating, equipment, and land credits and write the supporting presentations
• Run field inspections, yearly reviews, and ongoing watch on the book
• Bring deposit accounts and other bank services to producers
• Lean on FSA guarantees when the credit structure calls for them

Qualifications:

• Ag Business, Horticulture, Finance, or related bachelor's preferred
• Earlier ag lending or ag credit analyst work
• Knows irrigated crops, orchards, and ranch operations
• Builds lasting producer relationships and communicates well
• Works independently and keeps files and follow-ups tight
