A community bank in Craig is confidentially hiring an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to serve homebuyers in Craig and across Moffat County and northwest Colorado. You'll guide purchase and refinance clients from application through closing, backed by a bank that keeps decisions local.

Responsibilities:

• Sit down with borrowers and walk through mortgage choices in plain language
• Guide applicants through a complete, accurate loan file
• Pull and review credit, then size risk against bank guidelines
• Recommend approve or decline calls within authority and policy
• Tour subject properties when the file needs a site view
• Watch local home prices, inventory, and rate moves
• Cultivate realtor and builder referral partnerships

Qualifications:

• Mortgage lending experience in this market
• Knows FHA, VA, and conventional/Fannie Mae rules in practice
• Solid with Word, Excel, and everyday MS Office tools
• Finance or Business bachelor's degree
• Five or more years in mortgage preferred
