Job Description

A local bank in Denison is hiring an Ag Lender to serve farm families and ag businesses throughout Crawford County and western Iowa. The role covers prospecting, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing, with credit decisions made close to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Build ag business through farm visits, referrals, and being present in the community
• Spread statements and judge cash flow, collateral coverage, and repayment strength
• Assemble operating, livestock, machinery, and real estate credit requests for approval
• Protect portfolio quality with on-site reviews and yearly renewals
• Offer deposits, cash management, and related services to farm customers
• Follow commodity prices, input costs, and local crop and livestock conditions

Qualifications:

• Agriculture, Ag Business, or Finance bachelor's preferred
• Prior work in ag lending, farm credit, or ag credit analysis
• FSA guarantee program familiarity is helpful
• Solid writing and speaking skills with farm clients
• Motivated, organized, and at ease covering a rural territory
