Gpac is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (Night Shift) to lead and develop a skilled maintenance team while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This hands-on leadership role oversees 3 supervisors, 24 mechanics, 4 electricians, and multiple boiler and refrigeration technicians, and serves as a key bridge between day and night operations.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and support the night shift maintenance team to ensure safe and reliable operations
Improve communication and continuity between day and night shifts
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime
Hold team members accountable in a fair, respectful, and consistent manner
Partner with production leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance activities
Promote a culture of ownership, follow-through, and continuous improvement
Drive training, skill development, and succession planning within the team
Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading maintenance or technical teams in a food manufacturing environment (canning experience a plus)
Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
Clear, confident, and assertive communicator
