Corporate M&A Attorney: Deal Work with Hybrid Flexibility in Newport Beach

Our client, a well-regarded Orange County firm with an active corporate practice, is seeking a Corporate M&A Attorney with 4+ years of experience for its Newport Beach office. The group advises middle-market companies, investors, and entrepreneurs on mergers, acquisitions, and growth transactions.

This is a hybrid role based in Newport Beach. You will split time between the office and home while working closely with partners on live deals.

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate letters of intent, purchase agreements, and ancillary deal documents
• Manage due diligence and closing checklists
• Advise clients on deal structure, risk allocation, and timeline
• Coordinate with tax, employment, and real estate colleagues as needed
• Support clients on related corporate governance and financing matters

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 4+ years of corporate transactional or M&A experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Comfort managing deal workstreams with partner oversight
• Interest in middle-market and coastal Orange County clients
