Labor & Employment Attorney: Advisory and Litigation Variety in Tampa

We are working with a highly regarded Tampa law firm that is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 2+ years of employment law experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys a balance of advisory and litigation work and wants to keep building expertise representing employers.

This is an in-office position.

What You'll Do

• Advise employer clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Represent employers in government agency investigations
• Litigate employment claims on behalf of employers
• Draft employment agreements, forms, policies, and procedures
• Manage a heavy workload while providing timely responses to supervising attorneys and clients

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 2+ years of employment law experience (required)
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (required)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle a heavy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Responsive, client-focused approach and excellent communication skills
