Commercial Construction Superintendent
Denver, Colorado
An award-winning Denver area commercial general contractor is looking for an experienced Superintendent who knows how to lead a jobsite, build strong subcontractor relationships, solve problems in real time, and keep a project moving from the ground up.
This is a field-first role for someone who takes pride in running a clean, organized, safe, and productive site.
What You’ll Do
• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
• Manage subcontractors, manpower, sequencing, and site logistics
• Own the project schedule and drive milestone completion
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and project teams
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety standards
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and upcoming work
• Identify conflicts before they become delays
• Maintain quality control throughout construction
• Communicate professionally with owners, inspectors, architects, and trade partners
• Lead projects through punch list and closeout
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience
• Strong experience working for a commercial general contractor
• Proven ability to manage projects from sitework through turnover
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor coordination skills
• Solid understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction sequencing
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• OSHA training preferred
• Procore and scheduling software experience preferred
