Civil Litigation Attorney – 2+ Years of Experience
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (hybrid flexibility available)
A well-established California litigation firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney (2+ years of experience) to join its growing practice. The firm handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including appellate work, business and commercial disputes, construction defect, real estate, general liability defense, transportation, and estate/trust litigation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain broad litigation experience, work alongside seasoned trial lawyers, and take on meaningful case responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and appellate briefs.
Conduct witness discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, trial prep, and client communications.
Qualifications
J.D. and active California bar license.
Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage cases across different phases of litigation.
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Appellate or construction/general liability experience a plus.
